Can someone please tell me a reputable online source for cheap used textbooks (college if that matters)?

used textbooks

I am interested in hearing from people that have purchased used textbooks online before and had a good experience in doing so. Also tell me ones to stay away from if you can.

    Half.com

They are affiliated with eBay. People put their used books on there and sell them. There is no auction in this site. It is merely click and buy.
You can type in the ISBN # on the particular text book that you need and it will pull it right up.
I used this site to buy an English book my 2nd year of college. It save me money that way.
Just click one, view it, make sure you read the descriptions and are satisfied with the product description, then simply buy.
They are rated in categories such as new, like new, good, fair, etc. This helps a lot.

    Hope this helps.

Amazon and Half.com are both good.

There are a couple of really good ones. It really depends on what you are looking for. As I am a college student and a home school teacher of 3 I use bookbyte.com and amazon.com the most. But if you type in cheap textbooks there are a couple that will compare prices for you. Bookbyte is really good about having hard to finds and ships quickly. Amazon is the same way about shipping. Good luck.

The above mentioned websites are good.

You might want to do some comparison shopping of textbooks at Ugenie.com.

They help you find your textbooks by college, department & course & also help you save a bundle, taking care of available coupons & offers.
Plus they already get prices from all the sites mentioned above - so you can see them all at one place & choose the one that you like.
