Is there a public listing, possibly by state? Or is my only option to contact the schools directly?

It is a composition of essays and guide to writing essays. I need the edition or the copyright date. I also need to know the editor or writer of the book.

dc2354 asked:
I’m trying to save money and buy my college textbooks on line instead of on campus, but on amazon, I can’t find the book I need with the same publisher. I can find the author and edition but the publisher is always different. will this be the same book and material for my class if the publisher is different? is there a better way of doing this?

BeautifulxxLie asked: At my high school, they make us buy our books and then we can sell them back to the school at the end of the year. So, when we buy books at the beginning of the next school year, most of them are used (unless they change books for certain courses) and therefore we get them at a much cheaper price. But, my school doesn’t let seniors sell back their books, so all incoming seniors have to buy new books unless they obtain books from the graduating seniors. Needless to say, I wasn’t able to get any books except for one. Although, I don’t need any textbooks for my British Western Literature Honors class because they are all novels and I don’t need anything for my Spanish III Honors class because we are using the same books as we had this year. Here, I’ll list my courses, the book I need, the author, and the year it was published.
Psychology Honors
-Discovering Psychology, 4th Ed.; Hockenbury, et al; 2007
Trigonometry
-Trigonometry, 8th Ed.; Lial, et al; 2005
Statistics
-Elementary Statistics, A Step by Step Approach 6th Ed.; Bluman; 2007
Neuroscience
-Brain, Mind & Behavior, 3rd Ed.; Bloom, et al; 2001
Oh, sorry. I typed up the wrong book for my Statistics class, that book is for AP!
Here is the right book:
Elementary Statistics, Picturing the World, 2nd Ed.; Larson, et al; 2003
