I am homeschooling my daughter and am on a budget of $300 so would it be cheaper to buy textbooks or discs?
If you buy discs do you have to buy a student and teacher edition (like with textbooks) or do you just buy one disc that has the material, tests, assignments, etc on there?

Bells asked:
Well for homework we have to write down terms from our science textbook into a notebook and draw a picture for them. But the problem is we also have to read the textbook. This textbook is very boring. I read is and i don’t pay attention to what i am reading. This always happens when I am reading something I don;t understand. This only happens in something boring. I love to read and i always get what Im reading. I even try to read aloud what i’m reading and i still don’t get it. Is there any tips to not get distracted and pay attention to what your reading?

I really like a textbook from my grade 12 physics class called “Nelson Physics 12″, ISBN 0176259880. I want to buy it for less than Nelson’s advertised price of $155 + shipping. Since the school issues these books to us, I’d imagine it’s rare that someone would sell one and I couldn’t find any on eBay or some other major used items sites. Any suggestions?

windmos asked:
I am from Taiwan. I learned from the news that Singapore’s textbooks in math and english are one of the best in the world. I am a father of a preschool kid and I am looking for the Singapore’s textbooks in math and english for him. However, after surfing some Singapore’s online bookstores, I am very confused by the different versions . Therefore, I would like to know which versions of textbooks in math and english are preferred in Singapore? Thanks for your kindness. If you have any suggestion, could you please send the information to my email wen.peng@bsmi.gov.tw?
