LaDeeTexN asked: I’m looking for a textbook, but the cheapest one I’ve found is at LEAST $100. I found a teacher’s edition of the same textbook for under $40, so I’m wondering if I could use that for class instead of paying an arm and a leg for the other.

cyclone girl asked: I am in high school, and I accidentally spilled tea on my English book. I looked it up on the internet, and it’s a $90 book. There is no damage to the covers of the book, but there is a few torn pages. You can still see the writing, though. Do you think my teacher will make me buy a new textbook? I really don’t have $90 to spend on a book.
