I already know of Strand Books in NYC but are there any other places?
And these are the sites I know of already for cheap books - I need more sites to compare.
half.com
strandbooks.com
amazon.com
So if you know of any websites please let me know! Thanks

The ultimate price comparison search engine for textbooks: .. it searches all the major booksellers and gives you the best price + shipping options. I’ve used it many times in the past and saved hundreds of dollars literally. Good luck! haas

look on ebay.
Hint .. when you look for used books, you probably don’t need exactly the same (most recent) edition as your class is using, but there CAN be subtle differences that you will need to look for. If your professor has assigned the 6th edition, ask whether the 5th or 4th will do. Usually the answer will be yes. Fly On The Wall

Uhm, half.com is the only one I know of that has the better deal. Plus, you can sell your old books too. You can always browse Ebay and see what they have for auction. shelly01071987

Or if you want them new you can try:
(you can get second hand ones here as well)…
I buy all my textbooks secondhand because it’s cheaper and you don’t use them as much as you think you might, so it’s a waste of money to get them brand new. And as long as you have the right book it doesn’t matter if it’s new or not. Sarah N

You could try. They list lots of book shops.
My brother’s book business (http://www.textbooknook.com) lists there because they are free to list. You could also, but they don’t have as many book providers to search (because they charge for listings).
Some other sites that have many book sellers (because they list for free) are:
Here is a good article on how to find cheap textbooks. There are some things you can do besides just search lots of websites for you book.
