College students - how often do use your textbooks?
her asked:
I’m a senior in college (Economics major) and I can’t seem to study without textbooks. They just help a lot if I can’t understand something from the notes.

Depends on the class. Classes like history are reading intensive and textbook use is usually high; math too. But all teachers are different.
Overall, in College experience, I used my textbook in about 60% of my classes.

With some exception, I always used my texts quite a bit. I always found it amusing when people stated they didn’t even bother getting a text — these are the same people who are fine with getting C’s. For me, I wanted nothing but A’s and so did everything I could to give me that edge.
