any place that sell used books such as

ebay.com
amazon.com
half.com

some schools actually have used book stores outside of campus that sell em for cheaper.

Then again, i would say not all books will be available used so in those cases you will have to buy new. Also some books are hard to find on these websites since they are not widely used. Also if your taking labs generally those books are written by professors and you cant find those cheap either. Jay

Amazon. I usually save about $200 compared to what they charge at the campus bookstores. MIgal

My method:

Find the ISBN of the textbook by looking the book up on amazon.com. Then check out the marketplace, half.com, and the sites below:

Abebooks.com - Has tons of international editions sold through it (cheaper, but paperback). Pay attention to where the sellers are from though. I noticed a lot from Singapore, which would have a long shipping time.

Facebook.com marketplace. This one is not very large yet. I haven’t bought any textbooks off it, but I’ve sold 3. You wouldn’t have to worry about shipping, you could just pick the book up

uloop.com - This has only opened for 20 campuses so far. My university is one of them, but check it out to see if yours is on there yet.

pricegrabber.com - you can compare prices on here. It’s not always 100% accurate though.

Check around on campus. Sometimes people sell their books from the previous semester. Some places may rent books also. prettyakadoll1908

Amazon.com has always been the cheapest when I bought my books. Barnes & Noble’s site as well as half.com are also reasonable sometimes. chocolate-drop

Try Half.com it is owned by e-bay. Loads of books, videos, music, etc. YOu will need the ISBN number to make sure you get the exact book you want.
