		<description>Often times a publisher will create an "international" edition of a textbook, but they are the same as the "base" book.  Can you provide an example?  There are currently two ISBNs for every textbook, an ISBN 10 and an ISBN 13.  These ISBNs should be very similar, as the ISBN 13 will generally be the ISBN 10 preceded by 978.  Also, the last digit of the ISBN can be different.  This is the "check digit" of the ISBN. 		<description>Yes, that could be the reason. Also maybe the book was tailored for a certain school or something. That is what happened to me once. Same edition and everything but since if was tailored to a certain school, it had a different ISBN.
