Considering some Professors might changes texts, and or other problems that may arise… is it too soon?

If you buy this early you should have time to order them online which is so much cheaper, so I would say go ahead. There is a chance some books might change but with the amount you save buying online rather than in the book store you will probably still come out ahead.

Some Professors change texts every semester. Do not simply buy what was assigned previously.

If you know who all of your Professors are, I suggest emailing them to get a book list. Then, buy what you can. It is possible, though, that some Professors have not yet made up their minds.

so long as you have an updated syllabus I would recommend it. You might get a head start on the reading as well but don’t do too much–you may find that your profs are only using selected chapters or sections of the books.

NO WAY!!! I would def. do it! if they change the text 99% of prof. will cut u some slack and what, you go and order another book, but you potentially save money.
If i knew what books i needed i would do it on the basis of saving money. and as a college student, thats the most important thing you realize!!! :)

You should look online for them. Whether you want used or new they will be cheaper online. I always use They are a textbook search engine and they search all the online retailers to find you the best prices on your books. Its actually pretty cool.

    Hope this was of help.

Get them now, professors rarely change their text books once it’s listed.
