Selling used textbooks on Amazon.com?

I have used textbooks and I have seen people posting their used textbooks on amazon.com before. Is this free to do? And does amazon take a part of the profit? Please help! thanks

If your not sure of amazon, you can try ecampus, they have a promo link up that says the following.
“Need cash? Sell your used books to eCampus.com for top dollar. Free online quotes! Free shipping with tracking and insurance!”

They have it so you can actually check the prices they will buy back the books for right there on spot .. really COOL !
