Does anyone have any personal experience with this? I can go to stores near my college and buy used books but those prices are still really high, actually they’re close to the new price. So is it worth it to buy off of ebay? Do college students generally take good care of their textbooks? I feel like that last question’s answer is a no.

I asked this question because I am a college student. Like many of my peers around the country I know what it is like to have to pay for a expensive book that you are only going to use for less than a year and may never use again. I also know how it is trying to sell back your book to the school and being offered a ridiculous price. I recently started cleaning out my house and I stumbled upon some textbooks that I no longer used. When I tried to sell them I was either being told that the school wasn’t buying them, they were outdated or I was being offered a price of $1.00 to $5.00 for the books I spent well over $60.00 on anyway my friend told me to donate it to the library, where many people will have access to it. I mean how much information changes in a book within one year. Anyway why don’t more college students gave back to society by donating their textbooks to the library

How does someone go about choosing a college when you have a learning disability? Is it better to go to a community college or to a four year college or university? My friend who has a learning disability has been looking into both community college and four year college. He thinks that a four year college offers students alot more help than a community college?
