Michelle asked: I am mailing out a college textbook. It is not a hard back book. I have heard that media mail is the cheapest but I want to know if that is true does the book have to be mailed in a box in order for me to use media mail or can it be in a large envelope. Let me know anything I may need to know about media mail. I have never shipped a book so I would like to know if media mail is the cheapest and can I just use a large envelope. thanks

Lorenz asked:
I sold textbooks on amazon.com and they give me $3.99 credit to ship the package. They say that 3.99 will cover media mail shipping but when I go to the usps website to buy the postage label, there is no option for media mail. The only thing that is listed is priority mail and express mail. Can sombody help me out?
How do I get media rate stickers?

sundance_0083 asked: On half.com, I am listing my textbooks for sale in hopes of getting more cash than the school bookstore. The shipping instructions are fairly vague on half.com and on the USPS website, so I have some additional questions.
Do I have to find my own packaging such as an envelope that fits the textbook or does the USPS provide those at their locations? If I have to get one there, how much do they cost?
Basically, I am confused about the whole process
Any helpful input would be appreciated!
