Nick asked:

Like countless other students, I was screwed because the textbook publishers decided to release new editions, making it impossible to sell my textbooks at the school bookstore. I’m curious which site is the best for selling my used (but in perfect condition) textbooks online. Keep in mind, the highest prices are what matters most.

i did not want to buy textbooks on my school’s bookstore because they are too expensive but i was confused when i started searching online since my school bookstore does not provide the isbn number
instead it writes the edition like this: 3rd 07
that means the publication date is 2007 right? but when i searched the third edition of the book the date does not match, its usually an older date…i was wondering if it would still have the same exact material that i need.

I’m a 24 year old San Diego City College student and I want to sell my used textbooks. I have 7 used textbooks from several courses and I’d like to sell them for $10 each. I’ve tried Ebay and my school bookstore; no one will take them.

The used books I’m selling are:

Discovering The Universe Sixth Edition (Astronomy)
The Art Of Public Speaking (Speech)
American Government Brief Edition (American History)
Convergences (English)
Women, Race and Class (Women’s History)
Keys For Writers (English)

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
