Ashley O asked: i recently orderd a book for school (from an cheap online textbook site). The price was very great….6 dollars to be exact. But once i got it i looked inside and it said custom edition for university of northern colorado. So i want to no what exactly is a custom edition. and would i still be able to use in even though i dont go to that college.

I’m in college and some of my books are kind of hard to understand. So, I’d like to note inside the book on the margin the meaning for certain things. If i wrote in the textbook would it reduce the sell back price? Because they were very expensive and i need to try and get all the money back from them as possible. The risk is of course that you won’t be able to sell all the books, but with the average textbook price close to $150 per class now it seems like it shouldn’t be too difficult.
