Tim asked:

I have to read about 18 pages a day out of my AP European History textbook, what are the best ways to take notes and not take a long amount of time since I have to work on my other work as well?

Skim the reading, so that you recognize the words but don’t have to think too much about them. Statements, important looking sentances, names, dates… highlight these. If you can’t write in your book, write them in your notes. I find that I type much faster than I write by hand, so you might try that.

When test time comes, just go over what you highlighted again. Re-writing my notes aids me in studying.

    Good luck!
