Where are the best places online to buy college textbooks for cheap?
HyphyShavon asked:
I just started the semester and it turns out I need a lot more books than expected and through my school’s bookstore it’s costing way too much, so I was just wondering what are good places online to find the books I need for cheap.

Actually buying from amazon, textbook.com or your school bookstore is very expensive. Check out At this site you can actually just rent textbooks for the semester. And, they are very quick with shipping. Also, they send you packaging materials so that when you are finished with the book you can ship it back for free. deekny98

Half.com is a good place for textbook, you can also look on amazon that where I got my books when I was in college. Also try to find the paperback edition they are a lot cheaper then hardcover. I also used to find math and science books from India and China they are much much cheaper even with shipping.
You can also go to your school library and borrow the book they will usually have a copy. Although it will be very hard for you to keep it out for the whole semester. Alex A

I always use They are a textbook search engine that searches all the online textbook retailers (including amazon, half, ebay etc) and rental sites (including chegg, bookrenter etc) to find you the best prices. You can even use them at the end of the semester to search for resellers to sell your books to. J. Scott

Chegg.com is the best. I’ve used them the past two semesters
You can save up to 60-75%, and for every book you rent, you plant a tree.
If you use the promo code CC119149, you can save another 5%! Hannah

Chegg.com is the best place. It’s a rental site. It’s cheaper than buying, it’s easier, and they ship fast. Also they plant a tree for every book they sell and right now they are also donating money to Haiti when they sell a book.
You can use this code: cc101135 to SAVE and EXTRA 11% off your rental. getschooled

I would suggest using GreenTextbooks.org

With GreenTextbooks.org you’re not only saving trees, you are saving some green. Eco
