You can try looking at your college’s wall to see if your fellow students are selling textbooks; they usually sell cheaper than the bookstore. Or, you can try Amazon.com. I always use these two whenever I go back to school. ashlw

Facebook Marketplace. Alot of people will sell old books on there for cheaper, but make sure you are getting the right book.
Ebay/Amazon is a good place to look to.
But i would check out all your courses first and see if any teachers actually require/use the text book. Many teachers wont, and some only make you read certain parts of the book, which you could do by borrowing from a friend when you get to that point. dan the man

You can rent textbooks from Chegg.com
Getting my books from there has saved me a lot of money! Amazon and half.com are good also! Lexie

There are number of places to buy cheap college textbooks: amazon, half.com, abebooks.com, chegg rental, etc.
But how do finalize the cheapest places. Getitbooks.com is an intresting website that compares prices across various websites to find the best deals including rental books and international edition books.

Chegg is the best and cheapest for renting texts. I saved over $600 by renting this semester vs. buying. Here’s a code that will discount your order with them: CC123047. Put the code in when ordering and hit the “apply” button. If you want to sell used texts to Chegg, the code also gives you an extra $5. You can use the code over and over because it doesn’t expire. Good luck! ChiliBean2
