Will I have to buy a new textbook?
cyclone girl asked:
I am in high school, and I accidentally spilled tea on my English book. I looked it up on the internet, and it’s a $90 book. There is no damage to the covers of the book, but there is a few torn pages. You can still see the writing, though. Do you think my teacher will make me buy a new textbook? I really don’t have $90 to spend on a book.

doesn’t sound like it. of course I can’t see it but according to your description its not that bad. clean the pages as much as you can. if she does make you buy another, get it from a used textbook site. amazon.com is a very reliable site and it sells used textbooks. hope I helped(: jasmine

Don’t say anything. Odds are when the book is turned in at the end of the session no one will notice. Or you could swap it with someone else’s book when they aren’t looking, I guess it will kind of depend on your conscience.

You could try to buy an used textbook. I have found good information on that at this place:http://www.cheaptextbooksforcollege.com. If you have used textbooks you could seel them to get money to buy this specific book. Josp
